Don’t let that happen to you.

Yes. I know what you think. Dead obvious ridiculous. I used to laugh at that advice too, until the day I forgot my own SD card in my computer for a 2 day trip. Please don’t let that happen to you. Friends don’t let friends lose their SD cards. Unless you are shooting a Leica T with 16 GB of internal storage and are laughing at my post right now, chances are that your camera doesn’t have any internal memory whatsoever. The moment your memory card isn’t in your camera, everything goes blip. Nil. Your pictures are nowhere to be found. Sorry. Too bad.

The lesson? Always check your memory cards before shooting. And go into your settings and make sure that the damn option of shooting without SD card is disabled, if your camera has such a thing. If you know of anybody (like me) who once forgot his SD cards at home while shooting and might need a quick refresher, spread the word and share this article. Thanks.
